As friends who enjoy going out at night, we loved the peaceful and quiet location of Candeias Do Souto. the hotel's charming old farmhouse building, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff made it an ideal base for exploring the western part of Matosinhos Nature Park. the large and well-appointed rooms, complete with multiple electric sockets and a second entrance from the garden, provided convenience and comfort. the delicious and plentiful breakfast, offering both French and German options, ensured a great start to our day.

Perfect fit for my needs: hiking, cycling, horseback riding. Enjoyed the bar with outdoor dining, coffee shop, picnic area. Also, kid-friendly with cots, board games. No pets/smoking. Coming back for romantic escape.
